I decided to pass, with shipping it's $42.66.
It was $30 plus tax at Amz, and I used a $15 credit.

Makes sense. For me, once tax and shipping was accounted for it was only a difference of around $6 bucks give or take but if I had a $15 credit I woulda kept my Amazon order as well.

This would be a ridiculous FIRST Sonic Youth record to get, ya? (but also kinda hilarious)
Dunno if I'll check out in time, my semi-local sold out of black already but has coloured copies left.

It’s actually not terrible as far as a career retrospective goes. They play a lot of stuff from earlier in their career. I am pretty sure you can give it a listen on Bandcamp as well and see if it’s something you’d enjoy. Their career was over 30 years so it’s not all encompassing but wouldn’t be a terrible first choice. If you enjoy some tracks you could use it a guide on to which studio albums you might wanna dedicate some time too.

At first I thought these were 4 disc collections. I was thinking they're really going after nostalgic Gen X'ers with disposable income.

Did Gen X watch this? Always thought they were in their angsty teenage grunge phase by the time this show came out.
I guess maybe some cusper/Xennials might have watched Doug it premiered in 91 but I was born in 81 (early millennial for those not keeping score) and I had stopped watching Nickelodeon by the time Hey Arnold premiered in 1996. My younger brothers enjoyed it though.

Yeah I'm 87 and Doug, Ren & Stimpy, Hey Arnold, Animaniacs are core memories for me.

You’re the same age as my wife. She liked this stuff too. So does my first born.

1980, and Animaniacs was definitely a huge one for me. Ren & Stimpy I never really got into, and I don't rightly recall ever hearing of the other two.
Animaniacs I could watch for days. Hilariously, once Pinky & The Brain had their own show, my stepdad was the one who would get up early to watch that one. He loved those guys! We even bought the whole series on DVD for him a few years back.

I watched Animaniacs, Ren & Stimpy and Tiny Toons - usually stoned in the lounge area of our dorm which had a big screen tv.

Pinky & The Brain was great. Angry Beavers too, that was toward the end of my Nick Toon run (97-01) though

We were too cool for cartoons by then!

As an adult I've watched all of Hey! Arnold due to my partner, and highly recommend it.

EDIT - I am late to the party, apparently. ha!

Dan Auerbach is *finally* reissuing his absolutely stellar debut solo LP 'Keep It Hid'
