Tbf, Harden might have stayed at OKC if they had offered him as much money as the Rockets did. The defining factor for OKC’s success in that timeline is whether they’d realize that Westbrook is an inefficient player and that they should build around KD and Harden instead.

yep. Harden probably would have stayed if OKC didn't cheap out IIRC.

the westbrook contract was bad from the second the ink dried on it and i called it back then. it was a loyalty contract and those rarely work out.

Honestly, so damn happy to be a Heat fan. Went to UT Austin for law school and have a lot of buddies who are Mavs fans. Talking to them about their inability to keep players/get free agents really puts it in perspective how being big-market, successful franchises doesn’t guarantee anything over the summer. We’re lucky to have Pat and Spo, but I guess it doesn’t hurt to get to be a millionaire on a beach

As far as the HGH goes, it may help, but I want whatever the Boston doctors had that brought Smart and Tatum back from numerous season-ending injuries during the postseason

TBH, just the fact that an elite talent would be willing to consider The Bulls makes my day. For whatever reason Chi Town is usually an afterthought for the Leagues best players.
