This is my concern. I remember The Truth being a high print run last year and it evaporated quickly around here.
Not as quickly as the single copy of The Gold Experience mind, but still way fast.

Looks like 12k in the US. Plus, this had a recipe for desirability. Huge band covering disco hits under a pseudonym + the recent passing of their beloved drummer.

Oh it was selling for $100+ like a day or two after RSD, I'm just saying don't always assume that a pressing with a high number of units will be around awhile.

Going for about 200 on Discogs. That's nutty.Looks like plenty of The Truth over there for about 25 and up.
I'm holding out for a sale.

It's so hit or miss - I grabbed the Cure's Wild Mood Swings for half off a couple months after RSD. This time around I haven't been able to find Pornography (the album, you pervs) anywhere on sale.I had to look that one up.
Looks like plenty of The Truth over there for about 25 and up.
I'm holding out for a sale.

Got the local with a pal and got most of my needs along with one for the Uncle, ran into Hatfield as he mentioned above, dropped by another shop for a couple the first didn't get a lot of, then raced out to watch the last half of my kid's basketball game in which she played pretty great. A nice morning and much mellower than most RSD's!

Showed up 10 minutes after my local opened, got Live on 2 Legs and Ragged But Right. Picked up a 1/2 price copy of Jason Isbell's Georgia Blue from the past RSD sale bin for a friend as well.

Can anyone who got The Gold Experience comment on the sound? I found out that the European version was pressed at Pallas, the US at GZ.

So, I'm pretty much speechless. I've been going through some health issues for the past few months - missed RSD in April due to surgery the day before, but was hoping to make it to today's drop. Unfortunately, it seems I may have some type of autoimmune thing going on, which is causing chronic pain, that prevented me from queuing early at my local.
Messaged the owner last night, asking how many copies of Sweet Relief they got in, and said I might try to come in if I felt up to it. This am, I did not feel up to it (mornings are pretty much the worst) so I was resigned to the fact that I wasn't getting a copy.
About 2 hours ago, I got a message from the owner who bought a copy of it for me, on the house, set it aside behind the counter for when I can come pick it up, and if I'm not feeling up to driving the 30 mins there, he'll ship it to me. I cried. Shop independent stores - the relationships you forge are so worth it.
