Online Vinyl Deals

Has anyone received anything from sleeve city recently? I placed an order in January and they emailed me right away to say that they were sold out of their ultimate outers and were expecting to receive a shipment in 4-5 weeks. We’re coming up on 10 weeks now, so just wondering if I should reach out.

Unfortunately they’ve been really impacted by the pandemic. Had something similar occur to me in the fall, so I had to cancel the order and just bought some sleeves off Amazon

I'm sure it's not their fault, but they should mark items OOS, not keep taking orders and send out a follow up email stating they're out of stock.

This was the last response I got, and this was on 3/15, haven't heard or received anything since.
"Barring any future delays, we hope to have the products in stock within the next 5-7 business days."

All I know is I got a pile of records sitting here uncleaned and unplayed.......looks like we're going back to MoFi inners.

@Plaid Room / Colemine sells the gotta groove sleeves which appear to be the same quality as mofi and are much cheaper

I'm actually liking these Hudson inners. The rice paper side feels a tad heavier than the Mofi, I dig it.

And I've gone to the Clear Bags outers, bought both the standard and oversized and they seem to be holding up great. Although I've never used the Sleeve City to compare. The oversized is a little big for a smaller gatefold, but some of those bigger ones it's nice to have the room to fit them in. And they're nicely clear and really let the cover come through.

I'm on board for the outers, while I'll miss the 5 mil, I'll get over it, but I do like the slightly more rigid rice paper inners SC has, we might give the Hudson version a go if they're heavier than the MoFi's.

Thanks - I can wait another couple of weeks if that’s the case. I still have some inners but I’m waiting for outer sleeves.

I feel like, in most cases, this forum is the fastest and easiest way to track down answers to these kinds of customer service and shipping questions for any company haha. Grateful for this community!
