If it’s M.I.A.’s Kala, I’ll be crying tears of joy as that’s one of my favourite albums of all-time! So many fusions of different genres and sounds and it’s just such an energetic, bold, wildly original, endlessly fun, tribal in spirit, politically dark and eccentric album! I love Kala so so so so much and I’m ready for it if it is indeed the 100th Essentials ROTM! 
Maybe since the Clipse ROTM had Kardinal on it we're getting some as a tie-in.
Fun fact: My brother used to go to high school with Maestro.

beyond the fact that my theory about die antwoord is still in effect because world music can mean anything from bad bunny (YHLQMDLG would be an awesome ROTM tbh) to Epik High (first technically K pop ROTM though and they would TOTALLY mention THAT being the 100th)... but beyond that

Ha, no I've tried a few of their music videos at the time they were all the rage and I think my brain couldn't comprehend what was going on. The closest thing to sensory overload I've had.

It was also kind of a veiled dig at VMP and their classification system, which has been debated at length on this thread.
