Hey @HiFi Guy or anyone else familiar, the three bearing housing screws under the platter on the plinth on the ProJect 2xperience, do you happen to know how tightly they should be screwed in? Mine have come loose, I'm having a hard time finding anything online about it... They all have a small nut underneath that's pretty difficult to get at, but I'm guessing a little more than hand tight?

I think with most gear, I would go with "Securely", don't overtighten...........I know that's not a torque setting, but I've found it to be accurate.
yeah this. Tighten them so it holds securely but no need to push as far as the screwdriver will allow or beyond with a ratchet of electric. Don’t know about the nuts though sorry, mine screws directly into the wood plinth with self taping screws.
Yeah I basically just held the nuts in place with my finger (insert sex joke here) and tightened until I couldn't stop them from spinning in place (insert other, weirder sex joke here).

Yeah that sounds about right, you just want to ensure that there’s no play in the hearing housing, doesn’t need to be over tight.
Not a torque measurement, but finger tight and another 1/8 turn. Snug. Not cranked down. If it comes loose again, get some Loc Tite.

Very exciting news today. Just put down a deposit on a Decware Super Zen Triode. Should be ready by the end of July, which should time out well for our move later this year as part of the living room system. Class A, here we come!

Your building quite a nice cultivated system there I must say. Great price and lifetime warranty too on the amp! Enjoy! You convert those to mono's one day as well! One of my friends uses old low watt Wright amps and homemade horns. It is his twilight system, he will never go back. What speakers will you be using ?
ps I was thinking of Bottlehead when I made the preamp kit comment

Speakers I'm thinking will either be Klipsch RP600Ms or Zu Dirty Weekends - will depend on budget and space by that time. Definitely need something very efficient for that amp.

So...I received my tax refund today from the feds, and I might have spent a good chunk of it on a new direct drive turntable. Whoops!

I went with a Reloop RP-7000mk2 in black. And I will pair it with a AT540ML stylus I already own.
I was jumping back and forth between the Reloop 7000 and the Pioneer PLX-1000. The two are almost identical. They share the same DD motor (except you can modify the torque and braking on the Reloop), and both have the same rubberized/deadened platter and insulated S-shaped tonearm. The PLX has an unhinged dust cover that you pull off completely (which is okay), but prefer one that is attached to the turntable. And the Reloop with dustcover was about $150 less than the Pio. So, I went that route.
Now I just have to wait for delivery on Tuesday.
