Online Vinyl Deals

FWIW, while it is listed as CD, given the list price ($99.99) the link below must be for the deluxe version w/vinyl, CD, and DVD. A bit of a roll of dice, but could be yours for $67 if it works out. Can always return if they get it wrong.
Yep--Target and other big box retailers tend to do this. There are quite a few vinyl box sets listed as CD if they contain a CD so they don't show up if you are only looking at vinyl. Some others I noticed are the Led Zeppelin Super Deluxe box sets. I grabbed the Live at the BBC one, but they seem to have most, if not all, of them and they are listed as CD even though they contain LPs.

Grateful Dead Fillmore West, San Francisco box
Pretenders MoFi
2 Tone Poet pre-orders (Dexter Gordon, Art Blakey)
Cranberries - Everyone Else is Doing it.... complete sessions

I'll probably waffle about the Rust Bucket throughout the week.
Nice. I also grabbed The Dead @ Fillmore West 2/28/69 (5xLP) and paired it with the Dylan Bootleg Series 1-3 (5xLP).

That's a great find. Thanks!

same situation more than a few things i wanted to pre-order. :(
With my gear "resolutions" done, I've made this my new one, to concentrate on getting those wants off the list, if I indeed still want them, otherwise they're coming off the list. That being said, I know there are going to be one offs that pop up, but spending over let's say $50 on albums you never really thought of just because your getting a deal, seems better spent on the want list.

Once the want list gets somewhat under control, there are some grails on there that may take some doing, then I'll be more inclined to jump on sales like this.

Just my direction on all of this, I'm glad so many of you are getting things you're in to at a great price.............ya bunch of cheaters ;)

very limited space is my issue so i'm also just getting stuff on my want list instead of getting in on a great deal.

I'm definitely holding back on buying stuff simply because it's a "deal".

Pretty much my mentality. I used to be like "oh, I HAVE to figure out a way to make this deal work for me." Then 10 albums I didn't really want or need show up on my doorstep. I'm probably better off selling what I don't listen to to my local and then picking up those things that I otherwise wouldn't buy unless getting a deal.

Haha. I think we've all proven beyond the shadow of a doubt we can aim our rationalizations in any direction we please. And cheers to that!

And then the next phase (for me) is that you offer those albums you never actually wanted but got a good deal on in the PIF thread, and nobody claims them so in order for something of yours to get claimed you offer something else from your shelves and that one gets claimed but then a couple months goes by and you realize you PIF’d an album you actually did enjoy and end up buying it again for full price 🤣

The PIF thread can be "finiky" at times, but I get your point. That being said, for the most part, albums that have fallen from grace in the collection hit the PIF thread before hitting the local trade/sell option ;)

I swear record collectors should be studied by psychologists to help trail-blaze groundbreaking mental health treatments
