Pre-Order Thread

Here's an interesting vinyl release coming out this Friday from Slyvinyl Records. It's Vaporwave. The wax mage looks really good!
Pretty cool stuff! I've been looking for niche labels like this. Any recommendations?

That’s pretty true. If someone put a gun to my head and told me I had to trade my whole collection for someone else’s, you, Newman and Kris would be in the running.
Hey total tangent here, but remember a while back I tried to send you a blues record? It was Brownie McGhee and Sonny Terry Sing. I’m reading a book called Step It Up and Go all about music in NC. It turns out those dudes were a really big deal here in Durham.

I do! I own a couple of their albums. They also low key didn’t like each other. If you ever hear any of the live recordings they’d even go at it on stage on occasion.

It's been a while since they put out a release On Slyvinyl, but if you are interested in a really niche label with the most amazing looking records then I suggest you check out Wax Vessel Records. They do a release once or twice a month and they do sick wax mages and swirls and everything. There is nothing boring at all with every release they do. The first time I ever seen a wax mage was from this label for a local Grindcore band I like from Oklahoman City called Destroyer Destroyer. If a label was putting out something like that for a band I thought only I knew about then I knew I needed to pay attention.

The other really niche aspect of them is that they only do one-time pressings and everything is from the MySpace era metal scene. Stuff like Grindcore, Metalcore, Death-Metal, Cybergrind, Deathcore, Emo-Violence, and some Doom-Metal stuff.

All releases are from bands that have never had vinyl pressings before. Really obscure underground basement show stuff.

Lastly every release they put out ends up flipping for insane prices. I had about the first ten releases they did and honestly sold everyone of them and kept my favorite. I used the money to buy all the original My Bloody Valentine ep's and the Burial / Massive Attack split which are all super rare and expensive.

I’m so glad you posted this, was on the hunt!

New Black Jazz releases up on Real Gone's site. The limited clear with black splatter variants currently still available.

Anyone still looking for Punisher?

This also might be of interest:
