Third Man Records Vault

Damn. Didnt they ship last name first this time? Guess I'll contact them. First issue I've had with them in 7 years.
I'm M always in the middle so it never matters ha. I believe they said if you don't get it by a certain date in August to contact them.

Mine arrived. Will listen later. But for the price, it is ridiculous to use generic crappy paper sleeves for the records.
This was my first vault package and while the music is great, I agree for the price I was expecting a bit nicer presentation, e.g., jacket + sleeves. The DVD case is also cardboard, FWIW, not so much of an issue but el-cheapo route, too.

I also noticed that the DVD doesn't have all the songs from the vinyl, dissapointing. Especially bummed about the City of New Orleans not being on there. I'm sure it was a licensing issue but still.

Album sounds great, but everything feels cheaper on this one than many other Vault packages. Its a simple gatefold, the liner notes are on a torn piece of paper and not informative, and those damn paper sleeves. The DVD almost seems like an afterthought as well.

I'm sure getting a Cash exclusive broke the budget and the music is great, but this package feels like it should have been 20-25 bucks cheaper and I'd have been really pleased.

Having also received mine today, I agree with everything in this post. That being said, I'm happy to have this.
