I believe people said you should put this between your preamp and your amp. His prices are higher than they used to be but for $50, it's still cheaper/easier than buying all the parts and soldering iron. I'd probably go for the #6.
Yeah, if you need the iron and want a decent one, that's definitely true. Otherwise it is 4 RCA connectors, one switch, a box, and wires.

Sorry you beat my edit!

Has anyone here heard Braxton Cook's last album "No doubt"? Great mix of jazz and R&B, definitely worth checking out.

You can get 40% off the vinyl if you use code NODOUBT at checkout. I grabbed mine for $30 and change shipped to the US.

Listening to it right now and it sounds really good. It's now available through Diggers Factory for $24 and there are only 22 copies left.

This was an unexpected video to stumble across. Turns out Chevy Chase is a huge Bill Evans fan and before he became famous he used to drive Evans home after gigs at the Vanguard and Village Gate.

Did anyone else snag either of the Chet Baker releases from the VMP store drop today? I grabbed In New York but decided against singing Chet.
I bit the bullet with them. They are the 2 I most wanted from the Craft box, so in theory I will save myself from forking out on that (so I tell myself). The VMP/Prestige series was Craft and they sound fantastic, so looking forward to getting them.

For anyone in the US, you can get the black versions from Craft directly and their pressing of "Chet" for $5 more (includes shipping) than paying for both VMP color releases using CIRCULAR15.

Really interesting new release coming from Jazzman on Friday, Roscoe Weathers - I’ll Remember. All the tracks are up on Bandcamp.

Weathers was a US musicians who bounced around in the ‘60s and never found his audience. If you like jazz flute and that Latin rhythm vibe, dig into this — it’s good stuff.

Thanks, I purchased... I'll report back tomorrow when it arrives.
Please do - I found a 1962 RVG Stereo second pressing (albeit without a cover) for $1 last weekend at a flea market. Its in VG shape, no skips but some noise, but I enjoyed the music a lot. Would be interested to pick up a good recent pressing.

It is definitely the Vital Vinyl reissue. Just received. Haven't had time to listen yet - probably tomorrow.

My copy of Inception from last year sounds, ok. Definitely not on par with Tone Poets or even the current Verve reissues. And the record was so dirty. Looked like someone left it in a dog kennel for a week before they put the shrink wrap on it.
