I gotta say...I have only joined them for special deals but they have been awesome. I joined for a one off last month for a Neil Young album and it shipped the day.

I had a chance to purchase that but I chose the new preorder repress thinking that it would be a complete reissue of the original version with the cover art and such. Turns out they oversold they originals, so I’m getting the repress. I asked about the Saint Pepsi vs Skylar Spence issue, I got an email clarification this morning regarding this.

“the good news is that the preorder lp will be identical to the one you had ordered. all this means is that it will just take a little longer to reach you. we're hoping that we can turn them around in under two months. we will make announcements on the status of the preorder on our social media accounts if you would like to stay tuned.

The jackets will be black and the labels say hit vibes, so they say neither skylar spence, nor saint pepsi. this is true of both pressings that were for sale.”

So while I’m a little bummed I’m not getting an original, at least they’re identical.

Aw yis, I was just trying to figure out the other day how long it had been since that covers album. I thought that and Radium Death were two of his weakest efforts. Hoping this is a return to form.

Now all I want as far as white whales is the first Blank Banshee album and Late Night Tales

That covers album was just okay but his version of ‘Fear of Trains’ is so so good.

Also after seeing him live a half dozen times and chatting with him more than once he’s definitely the nicest, most genuine & appreciative musician I’ve ever met.
