the national haven't even got to seven good albums in a row yet, given that alligator was their first outstanding release

the debut and ssfdl were, let's face it, pretty mediocre

but the next five since? masterpieces in different ways, each and every one

can't wait to hear what they do next, and the new album has only been our a fortnight or so :)

Here to remind you to download them all (assuming you're now at your computer).

They're maybe not perfect, but the quality is actually so much better than you would think it is. Nice touches on a lot of the songs too. In regards to IAETF, it's really nice to hear a version of So Far So Fast that's basically just Matt singing the whole thing. It's become one of my favorite songs on the album. I love Lisa Hannigan's voice. But this live version is really good. Also guitars!

Last year it was shipped in early November. Who knows if they’re following the same schedule or not, but I wouldn’t get too excited yet!

It’s my ranking, it’s a fine song but others are better. It gradually drops off after Oblivions being an 8/10 and Roman Holiday about a 6/10. The last three I could do without.

Anyone going to the Atlanta show gotten your tickets yet? I'm a little nervous that it's two weeks out and they haven't arrived yet. Don't know why I opted for paper tickets.

I’m going to that one! And no I haven’t gotten tickets. I emailed them a bit ago and they just responded by repeating what was in the original email. Basically, it should arrive two weeks before the show (which would be this week). And if it hasn’t shipped by next week, I’m supposed to contact them. So...we’ll see what happens

I don't know what venue it's at but I would think most places can print them there if need be.
