Fresh Grabs

Not sure how my girlfriend would take it..... :ROFLMAO:
She better watch out when I come back to London in a few years time! 😉💨💨💨😈

Jokes! I’d probably just tell her how amazing you are and how I believe you’ve got the best and most advanced music taste! I would tell her “I don’t think you could have gotten a better boyfriend; he’s the jazz king in London, is super sweet and is harmless as”! 😂💯

Now im really blushing!!! Cheers buddy

Bob Dylan - Rough and Rowdy Ways

Slightly late on this but it took a while to come in the mail. This plain black pressing sounds great, and I don't hate the cover as much as others here.

Glad to hear the regular pressing sounds good. Some here and elsewhere on the internet had horrible reviews of the gold version.

Wayne Shorter - Speak No Evil
Kenny Burrell - Midnight Blue

Music Matters Jazz SRX. Yeah.

Handsome Boy Modeling School ‎– So... How's Your Girl?
Rafael Anton Irisarri ‎– The North Bend 10th Anniversary Edition

Glad that VMP is repressing some of their past ROTMs. Cheers to @alspriet for reminding me a while back that I needed to pick up The North Bend 10th Anniversary reissue. I got the last copy at Bullmoose but it's plentiful (and affordable) on the used market. Fantastic album.

Jeff Rosenstock - No Dream (Tour/Band Variant)
Sven Wunder - Eastern Flowers

No Dream may be my favorite Rosenstock -- a ton of fun. I dig the whole Turkish-flavored funk/groove/psych thing (Altin Gün's Gece was one of my favorite records last year) and Eastern Flowers slots right in. Superior to their new one, Wabi Sabi.

No Dream looks great, too!

That Jeff Rosenstock Lp is really good! I think this may be even better than POST-, which I spun a ton. Your copy is beautiful too! I have a seafoam green version on the way - I'm expecting to spin this a lot.

I’ve got a regular black and I’ve seen some negative reviews if it, but it’s second only to Fiona for pressings this year. That Fiona is a thing of beauty. Incidentally, same guy cut the lacquer for both. (He also cut All Mirrors and my copy of that is Um... not of the same quality.)

I hear the Art Blakey is great, I've eyed both of the other 2 recently but not heard either of them, what are they like?

I was really happily surprised by just how good this Blakey release is. The other two are both really good too but probably more acquired tastes than Blakey. I especially like the Don Cherry. You can listen to it here. I picked all these up from Honest Jons with free shipping here in England if you end up liking them.

Joe Harriott ‎– Chronology (Live 1968-69)
Fugazi ‎– In On The Kill Taker (Needles & Grooves AotM - another great pick, this time from @Thackeraye)
Midori Takada & Lafawndah ‎– Le Renard Bleu

I also received Les Amazones d'Afrique ‎– République Amazone + John Coltrane & Don Cherry ‎– The Avant-Garde but both are damaged and I am hoping for a replacement. N
