RSD 2020

Technically isn't it not even released yet? Just some shops put it up early?

The Dreamsicle was an the indie variant and indie stores got to release it a week early. There were some copies on Discogs for 34.99 yesterday but it looks like those got gone. Can't believe that the indie variant is that hard to come by especially since there are going to be at least three other colored variants.

Dammit, I completely missed the Jason Isbell "Reunion" release on orange dreamsicle. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. If anyone finds one available out in the wild (at least somewhere close to retail), my please me know!

P.S. $90 via Discogs is NOT OK.
This is £17.99 base and ~£30 with shipping to Minnesota - Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit - Reunions
Discogs for CA$50 but without shipping – Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit - Reunions: LP, Album, Dre For Sale | Discogs

Not sure if that's close enough but give a ballpark and will keep an eye out.

You can do better than that with shipping from UK.

Try this: Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit - Reunions

Juno has it listed as forthcoming and is usually by far the cheapest option:

Edit: Norman is not in stock but available to order from supplier supposedly. £26.89 shipped. Not as much better as I thought.

Would probably be no more than $25 shipped from Juno if you have the guts to wait for that, but I'm guessing it'll be easier to find stateside on Friday.

Nice! I would say that $33 is better.

Curious though - what other variants have you all heard about? I've been off the board for a few days and suddenly saw all these fresh grabs showing up of the dreamsicle variant and, well, kinda freaked!

There is a Magnolia Record club pressing, A Jason Isbell Store version and Vinyl Me Please pressing. The VMP and his store versions are sold out but Magnolia usually always has extras but who knows.

Ha, I'm not sure, just wanted to share some knowledge I've gained ordering from the UK. Release isn't til Friday, according to those listings, so I'd be willing to wager it'll be easier to find then. If it's an international indie store variant, can't be too limited.

Good stuff and useful to know. Didn't realise that shipping was better from Norman to the US – I use them myself. Being in the UK I've not had to order outside of it so went with the lower cost of the record itself.

Oops that last sentence should say Juno. It's often cheaper for me to order EU albums from there than from anywhere in the states. Analog Africa stuff is a good example.

Ah nice, it's still useful information to know when recommending in the future though so thanks for the clarification!

Juno is especially good if you're outside of the EU. They take VAT off and then the postage to Norway is pretty cheap. It means I can get an album with a sticker price of £20 in the UK before shipped for something like £19.60 to Norway including shipping. The only shame is that the Norwegian krone has fallen so much that it's no longer the bargain it used to be, especially for double albums.

Check your messages.

EDIT: Looks like I'm late. Ha

Anyway, for anyone else, here's another option

The vat removal will drop the price to £16.66 with shipping at around £5.98 from the UK. Total after conversion is about $27 or $28

I'm assuming the Oh Sees and King Gizzard are just going to be variants? I'd love a properly split up Murder of the Universe but I don't have my hopes up. Also, Head On/Pill single is cool to see, wish it was Cellophane though as that has the unreleased b-side.

Been meaning to pick up Scream Bloody Gore for a while so I might try grab that from one of the irish shops participating, kinda funny that nearly every single King Gizzard studio album will get yet ANOTHER variant out of this event, people were really holding out for the lucrative 23rd version of Nonagon Infinity I'm sure 😅

Are these special pressings? I see a list of albums but I don’t see what makes the unique to the standard pressings. Were these pressed specific for this event? The whole thing is kinda vague at this point.
