well i got the game last night, managed to pay off Tom Nook now im just waiting for my house. and that museum guy to come. Its pretty fun so far i have never played a game like this lol

While the development in the first week or so are fun and take some time and patience, I honestly think this is when the game is going to be a lot of fun, your Island is basically a blank canvas to create to your hearts content

I have approx 950,000 bells saved up in the ABD. Really considering belowing them all on turnips tomorrow. Right now my loan is approx 750,000 bells and I know the next two are well over 1mil. I'd like to make enough to at least pay off my current loan and the next one. Really hoping daisy mae gives me a good deal!
If the price is under 100 I'm pretty much going to spend all my money on turnips every week

I have no idea but you'll probably get one for every wish you make. They'll wash up on your beach all day tomorrow. I know there are small, large, and Aries fragments and they can be used for crafting things like the clothing wand and the Aries rocking chair.
should we all note which hemisphere our islands are located in the event we're all not Northern Hemisphere?

it's hard for me to get in any play time during the AM, so quickly getting in and scoring 100 turnips (unfortunately I had less than $10k bells on me) felt like securing a vinyl pre-order that sells out in a couple of minutes.

Mine are at 92 as well...but I haven’t played a ton lately and have been spending money to pay back Tom Crook. I really don’t know how to make much money in this game...

Tarantulas, non-native fruits. Gather all the fruit on your island and then visit someone with a different native fruit and sell it there for 5x cost.
Money trees: dig up the glowing spot on the ground and then bury 10000 gold from your inventory and wait for the tree to grow fruit.
Turnips.

Yea I’ve done some tarantula farming but only really got a lot once. Didn’t realize you could bury 10k gold! I’ve only buried whatever I’ve dug up. Been selling the fruit too lately. Can you not sell the fruit on your own island if it’s non-native?

you can sell native fruit but it’s only worth like 100 per rather than...I think 500 per?
So it only makes sense to eat your native fruit and stockpile to sell on friends’ islands, at least once you have a supply of non-native fruits to sell for easy cash.

Right but I meant if my native fruit is oranges, I can still sell coconuts on my own island for a good price right? I just have to sell oranges at another non-orange island?
