Zeppelin Ramble On Thread

Off the top of my head, right now. It'll likely change after I have a couple more IPA. Or not...

1. When The Levee Breaks
2. In My Time Of Dying
3. Kashmir
4. Friends>Celebration Day (this is one of those two song cycles that must always be played together and count as one selection)
5. In The Light

#4 is very true

Going through some spings today.

So I bought this MINT MINT AF copy of Houses of the Holy 1976 Japanese Reissue.
The mastering is pure shit.
Robert Plant singing The Ocean sounds like a chimpmunk on this release.

I don't think I gave much money for it but it's too sorry to even play.

I am thinking Japanese Warner Pioneer cuts are terrible.

My top 5
I Can't Quit You Baby- (LZ I) The Willie Dixon blues stuff just knocks it out of the park.
Ramble On- (LZ II) Everything on this album is pure gold.
Moby Dick- (LZ II) My top 5 could just be side of of LZ II really. The drum solo makes this one special to spin
Rock and Roll- ( LZ IV) Possibly the greatest rock song ever created. I read this was inspired by Little Richard's Keep a knock'n
Over the Hills and Far Away- (HOTH) I've always liked the transition this song takes

So many other good ones.
Truly legendary music.
I enjoyed reading along in Wikipedia while spinning LZ music today.
Learned LZ did some recording in Jimi's EL studio for Physical Graffiti and a lot of other tid bits.

Also, my least favorite song is The Cringe... I mean the The Crunge.

Another night, another round of listening, another round of rounds.

For all of you old enough to remember beauty pageants - "If the top 5, for any reason, cannot fulfill their duties, the next 5 will take over..."

Sick Again
Ten Years Gone
Hay Hey, What Can I Do
Wearing And Tearing
Your Time Is Gonna Come

Those are solid.
