I gave up maintaining this - there were a fair bit of items removed but I lost track now so just keeping track of the net.

So far only added 1 record this month! Secret Santa hasn’t shown up but otherwise it won’t be too much more, well unless I take a day trip into Nottingham when I’m home for Christmas and go a bit nutso. Being on a Ryanair flight home with only hand luggage should limit me really though…

I posted recently but then added and purged some more before the end of the year. This is my 2022 recap:

Collection size on 01/01/2022: 1113
Collection size on 12/31/2022: 1250
Added this year (2022): 200
Purged this year (2022): 63
Net Gain/Loss (2022): +137

It seems like no matter what I do I always end up adding +/- 120 to 130 albums to my collection every year. That’s also how I was when I collected CDs. I’ve had this 3-day-itch problem for decades now, except for a 6-year stretch when I lived away from any record store.

Edit: I’m adding the Discogs value here as well. As usual, nearly a 1:5 gap between min and max.
