Picked up a horrible sounding Money Jungle pressing from Amoeba earlier this year. Brought it back to return and stumbled upon this beaut! As far as lost albums go, this may be as good as it gets, and that’s to say it’s amazing. Also was pleasantly surprised to find it pressed on Smokey clear heavyweight vinyl. Anyone else listen to this yet?

Went down a deep Blank Banshee rabbit-hole last night. Found out that there is an entire lore built behind each of his albums, and he does all sorts of weird shit online to tease his fairly small but obsessive fan-base. Currently he has a new page on site up called blankbanshee.com/excavationsite - If you look in the source for that page you can find the phrase 'PROJECT ARMY WORM: CODE NAME NYMPH' - This became significant when he started his European tour recently and debuted a bunch of new music and had nothing but imagery of this bug/moth looking thing which looks similar to some of the photos you can find under a google search for Army Worm. The tour is also called 'Metamorphosis' and a nymph is an early stage of life for an army worm, pre-metamorphosis.
There's also some weirdness with a twitter account called @project_GIGA and Banshee is the only one following them, and it's a locked account.
Also they just recently put out Blank Banshee's earliest known work with the group Shinjuku Mad. They only had 2 releases, but both are now finally on vinyl. For anyone really interested after leaving this group there were a handful of shows performed as Blank Banshees with the current BB, and one of the other members of Shinjuku Mad. (Really need to save up my money before those Shinjuku Mad vinyl are sold out.)
Also if you ever wanted to know what he looks like without the mask.

Assuming it's the VMP? I got mine in the mail and gave it a spin on Friday. Really happy I chose not to swap, because what a killer record! Sounds really good too!
