Made it through track 1 @Poly-Rythmo with no extraneous noise at all. Really relieved, I gave it a thorough wet clean beforehand which may have helped any dirt issues. Super bass on this too, really rumbling my belly!

This is my 9th release from EST and it may well be my favourite (and as they're one of my favourites that's saying a lot). It's so we'll recorded and the trio are, as usual, almost telepathic in their interplay between piano, bass and drums. It ranges from lyrical jazz to almost heavy metal beats (but it's mostly jazz) and is incredibly melodic throughout. A good place to begin if you haven't heard them before.

A friend of mine, who’s also a guitar player and has released a number of albums, mentioned once that this Hendrix album was his favorite, which surprised me a bit. Nobody I know has ever claimed this was their favorite. So I put it on my want list, and never ran across a clean used copy for a decent price until yesterday.
