That is the only drawback with these speakers!
It isn’t really a drawback though seeing as the manufacturer designed them to be used, and to sound better, with the grills on. It’d take a special kind of someone to take the grills off and leave them off as a preference when it sounds worse!

I think you could call it a drawback if you prefer the aesthetic of having no grills, which is fair.

That looks like an aftermarket piece to make the Harbeth’s magnetised?
I did look at them too and they look like great speakers but the ones from their line I liked the sound of were 4x the cost of the Lintons!

Actually the matching stands are $699 + tax in Canada if you buy them separately, but if you buy them with the speakers they end up being $200 less
Also because these were his last pair, I manage to get an extra $200 off!
