Last summer I bought around a thousand cassettes, with most of them being live recordings. The quality ranges from incredibly good to bearable but there's just something magical about them. In fact I have listened to some of them more than fully produced albums by the same artists. I think its that live fly on the wall experience which just clicks with me.This package is really cool and love the color but man I streamed this and it sounds rough. I mean it sounds exactly like you'd expect something to sound that was recorded by the school janitor in the gymnasium.
I actually have around 10 recordings of full live gigs that I have recorded myself (nothing fancy, just on an iPhone). Its the same there again. I recorded Makaya McCraven in London and listen to that more than his actual albums, even though the quality is definitely poorer.
