Anyone here have issues with the Al Green - Gets Next To You? My first copy had visible gouges and surface noise. The replacement has no gouges but surface noise on the last 2 tracks of each side. A friend got a copy and reported his sounds great with no noise.

Was listening and everything sounded great until the end of side one and then the crackle started in the middle of the last song. Now on side two, track one is poping throughout.. track two is even worse... Muddy and poppy.

Ugh, time to complain.

Its good. It is probably slightly compressed, but sounds good. If you want it on vinyl, it is well worth it.

It's my last VMP record, outside of Alfredo, which who knows if I'll ever get that. Not a bad way to go out. The wonderful thing is I go to the new releases each week and feel no pressure to buy anything.

Would've been nice if the Khruangbin VMP edition also had the bonus 7" as this is probably the most affordable option for those of us in the States.
