Not sure why this is not a thread topic. Maybe Tl;dr situation here for me.
Need some advice. Daughter has a cheapo crosley and being a college student, I won't drop the needle on any of my records with that thing.
I want to give her a nice vintage system for Christmas. She's my step daughter, as of a year ago, she has decent taste in music. This would be a good way to bond and fun for me.
I recently (re) inherited my absolute classic JBL L (somethings) and want to put together a system for my 21 y/o daughter. Going to find a nice old skool kenwood or pioneer integrated and need something to spin some records.
I need something reliable, durable, and not crosley. Oh and nothing too fancy. I have no idea what to budget on this. So just looking to you guys to point me in the right direction. I have a guy in town that does TT repair, so I am not afraid to go vintage with his TT as well.
TIA mi amigos!
