Sipping my homemade hops gin. Served with fever tree Indian tonic water. The hops give it a slight golden colour. Delicious. Cheers!

My favourite within my price range (sort of) is Glenfarclas 15. Right now I've got some of that, Laphroaig Quarter Cask, Caol Ila 12, and Glenlivet 15 at home. Time for an after-work drink and some music.

I drank about 4 oz of Lagavulin 8 tonight while watching Chernobyl, because that's the sort of lubrication one requires to come to terms with something like Chernobyl.

Yeah 10g of citri hops per litre of gin for about 4/5 days.

I went to a new (to me) distillery in Sonoma County (wine country north of San Francisco) called Alley 6 and grabbed these two bottles:
We really enjoyed tasting through their offerings (five in the tasting room) plus the distiller let us taste some if his private stash of barrel proof rye.

It’s the historic Irish moonshine spirit made from potatoes in bathtubs. It is like drinking lighter fluid. It was legalised so distilleries could distill it about 10 years ago. Even that is usually high 80%s ABV. I had one blackout night on the illegal stuff about 18 years ago, never again...
