I remember kinda enjoying the first album for what it was at the time but it not really holding up even a year or so later so never really went back there. There was a complication of the Hives best songs off their first 2 or 3 albums that was released to try to break them in the uk. I really liked that. None of their actual studio albums excite me on their own too much.

Ten years sooner and The Arctic Monkeys would have probably been my favourite band, but by the time 2006 had rolled round I was just a very jaded, tired person, fed up with music in general. Looking forwards to giving this a listen to give them the chance they really deserved way back then.
