Play an album that uses black on the cover

So many choices - I went with the first mostly black random discogs pick.

Some day I'll do an A/B comparison of this pressing and the SRC that came out a few months later. Both were advertised as the "First" vinyl release, but SRC's got delayed and came out a few months later.

While they get lumped in with nu-metal bands, they leaned a bit more progressive than the other nu-metal bands of the time, which is why I've liked them for as long as I have.

Like is often the case with RSD titles one has on his wishlist, I had to chase this one down a bit. Eventually ordered it from a small local in Winnipeg.

It took damn near a dozen attempts from myself and other members of this forum before I was finally able to secure a copy of this. So many canceled orders that I refused to believe the one that went through was actually going through until it finally arrived. Extra wild given the reissue was only a couple of years old when my search began. The original is quite a rarity, and so too it seems is the reissue. Perhaps one of the most cohesive "albums" Sun Ra ever released and sounds absolutely divine as a rare trio outing!
