Same here actuallyI would switch Pure Comedy and God’s Favorite Customer.
I re-listened to Pure Comedy recently. I think it stands up well, but man, is it a slog in some spots. A great background album to put on while cleaning though.I would switch Pure Comedy and God’s Favorite Customer.
Yeah, me putting PC in last place isn’t meant as a slight so much as how consistently brilliant FJM’s discography has been. I enjoy the album a great deal the other 3 are damn near perfect IMO.I re-listened to Pure Comedy recently. I think it stands up well, but man, is it a slog in some spots. Has Chloe leaked or is this based just based off of the released tracks?contrary take...
father john misty: pure comedy > i love you, honeybear > god's favourite customer > fear fun > chloe and the next 20th century
You listen to the Chloe leak? I'm pretty cautiously optimistic given people's reaction to it but I don't wanna pre judge it, especially since I love both singles so far (especially Q4)contrary take...

I did the “shocked face” but really the top 4 in any order works for me.The National
1. Sleep Well Beast
2. Boxer
3. Alligator
4. High Violet
5. I Am Easy To Find
6. Trouble Will Find Me
7. Sad Songs For Dirty Lovers
8. The National
Trouble Will Find Me probably seems low for most people too, but I never had a big connection with it. I didn't listen to them at all after HV, then SWB got me right back into them.I did the “shocked face” but really the top 4 in any order works for me.

Yeah, High Violet and Trouble Will Find Me are about equal in my book. TWFM is probably a slightly better album overall but HV has “Bloodbuzz Ohio” which give it the win.Trouble Will Find Me probably seems low for most people too, but I never had a big connection with it.
