Pre-Order Thread

Glad to hear you have had a good experience with them. My experience with RT has been...underwhelming, to say the least. Paper thin mailers that don't often survive the cross-country trek, delayed response times on CS issues, and radio silence when production delays hold up an order. Funny how much experiences can vary with the same company...reminds me of another vinyl vendor that most of us have some familiarity with...

Really? The mailer thing surprises me...I've always thought my mailers from them were really high quality. I do have some delay with response time occasionally, but I don't really mind the delay as long as they don't piss me off with their response when it does come

Yeah, my recent order of their Viagra Boys Welfare Jazz exclusive arrived in a flimsy mailer so bent and beat up it looked as though the mail truck rode over it several times (and I didn't see any tire marks). The cover sleeve was all bent to hell, and the record decently warped. Then, in the week it took them to respond to my email, they sold out of the variant and weren't able to send a replacement. To their credit, they did issue a full refund.

I went w/ the St Vincent online exclusive -- black vinyl w/ tip-on jacket, photo "zine," patch. I enjoy a nice tip-on outer sleeve, and I'm not going to complain about 20 pages of photos of St. Vincent. I don't care one way or another about 180g vinyl, and the patch will remain unused in case I ever sell the album.

I like the new single, and, more importantly, I like her comment that there is "lots of guitar" on the new album (see Rough Trade listing for this).

Hmmmm, this looks like a question for noted Floyd fan @AndySlash

lol even i’m not touching this. reprints of the quad mix tape box.- the BOX - not even any audio content? and for only side a to boot, presumably to be later paired with side b’s limited print (assuming they have that box in good condition) for another $275? yeesh(kul)!

it’s a very pink floyd thing to have put out, but even i have limits to their exce$$.

The awesome looking cloudy version already sold out unfortunately
Yeah his first pressings never disappoint, color-scheme wise. I got into this music too late to own any of them, but I've admired the pics. With vinyl in his artist name, I guess he doesn't have much choice than to offer sick looking wax. Hopefully they sound good, but I don't own any to know.

I dislike Bullmoose...but I might need this.

It's getting a wider release on both coloured and even wider on black, by the looks of things.

AAAAAND......Purchased from "Petty's Estate".

The new Perturbator is up, Blood Music is getting absolutely hammered. Best of luck!

Still has most of the variants in stock.

I think Blood Music has made a point of saying how even though the label is winding down, they'll continue to keep standard black variants in press periodically, so that's also comforting!

Oh man, these variants are beautiful! Might have to grab a couple of these(hopefully they won't sell out soon)
Never heard of toe but these are beautiful packages. Anything essential listening?

Like @TenderLovingKiller® said, you can't go wrong with any of it, but I would recommend starting with the first album "the book about...". I would go getting them like this...

-The Book About My Idle Plot On A Vague Anxiety
-songs, ideas we forgot(this pressing sounds great, it's 45 RPM)
-New Sentimentality
-For Long Tomorrow
-our latest number(this one also sounds awesome)
-hear you
-the future is now EP

Hopefully these new represses sound as good as the OLN or the Songs, ideas we forgot pressings. I've got a couple of the first pressings for Long Tomorrow and Hear you, but they can be better soundwise.
