I'm enjoying that album, thanks for posting.Painted Shrines - Heaven & Holy is out today.
His voice isn't for everyone, but Jeremy Earl from Woods has a side project with one of the guys from Skygreen Leopards. Psychedelic Folky goodness for warm summer days.
Really enjoying this one, definitely worth checking out.

I'm enjoying to listen to the debut album of Dead Poet Society "-!-". A rock album that touches different genres. For people, who like bands like Badflower, Royal Blood and maybe White Stripes.
I’m reserving judgement until one of the two copies I ordered shows up (accidental - I see a trip to the pif thread in my future). Album seems ballad heavy given the singles and I’m not big on their ballads. Hoping I like it better than Free Yourself Up. Although I do remember Side Pony taking some time for me to warm up to as well.LSD didn't disappoint, definitely a good album! I'm going to check out the following next, I liked the singles I heard on NPR's playlist:
Lushlife - Redamancy
Pino Palladino & Blake Mills - Notes With Attachments
Valerie June - The Moon and Stars: Prescriptions for Dreamers
I wasn't familiar with Arab Strap going in, but I really enjoyed this album.Admittedly I was never able to get into Arab Strap for whatever reason...fast FWD to 2021 and wow this new album slaps!
The Lake Street Dive release is a good album. Thanks for posting about it. I'm just listening to it.Yeah I came in here to pump up the new Lake Street Dive release. Hypotheticals is a very strong lead single and they're just a rock solid group. Excited to give Valerie June a spin and there's some other interesting items out there too.
