Actually, that's okay, this is probably for the best. Pre-baby me was able to actually accomplish things. Sometimes early, even. Post-baby me can barely find the right Lemongrab gif.
If you want to do secret Santa you should be able to do secret Santa. At most it just adds about 6 minutes or so of copy paste I think
I would say in general maybe wait until December? (Or at least until everyone has their matches) but I can't fault enthusiasm
