Watched The First Omen at the cinema yesterday - slow start but once it going quite good - nicely filmed too in a 70’s style so will fit quite well in a back to back with the original- which is still the best

Absolutely an opening weekend experience for me. Loving the Hartnett resurgence.
Shyamalan is basically the Weezer of filmmaking at this pointStudios should be required to start off any M. Night Shyamalan film preview with a “From The Mind of M. Night Shyamalan” title card so I can duck out before getting my hopes up.
He is great at coming up with a premise and is a solid director, that is why his movie trailers always pique my interest. He should just have someone else actually write/adapt the movies as I have been perpetually disappointed with his work since Unbreakable.Shyamalan is basically the Weezer of filmmaking at this point
