My fav is when Marlon Brando, who famously did not give a single fuck making this movie, shows up for the last 10 min, and just blows every other performance in the movie away.

I wanna throw Whit Stillman’s wonderful Metropolitan into the ring for great non-Christmas movies that take place during the holiday. Christmas amongst NYC’s young socialite class. Good stuff!
Really didn’t care for last days of disco but maybe I’ll give it a shot

It’s along the same lines, it’s part of his Doomed-Bourgeois-in-Love series along with Last Days of Disco and Barcelona. Kicking & Screaming is my favorite of his films.

Oops, I just realized Kicking & Screaming was Baumbach not Stillman. Chris Eigeman is it K&S and is in like all of Stillman’s movie so I mixed them up. My bad.

For any Bond fans.....usually YouTube free movies are trash, with a few exceptions (e.g. Fargo, Moonstruck, 12 Angry Men). But it looks like they've dropped all of the Bond movies from Connery to Brosnan. No Craig. So, if you didn't know, now you know.

We don't go every year, but the fact that I won't go this year because of COVID is a bummer! Our only independent theater always shows it. Hopefully they make it through this.

Oh a Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation are classics for sure! I would watch those again. I’ve actually never watched Elf from beginning to end. I’ll catch it in different parts whenever it’s on tv but never sat down to watch it myself, and I like most Will Ferrell movies.
