Day 26: Black Lives Matter
No more needs saying.

Sault "5" (2019 Forever Living Originals)

It's chilling how this feels so prescient now. Released in May 2019, i.e. before May 2020.
Can't put down your big toys, it's all respects, wanna be Action Man
But you can't, with old friends, never had a fight with a real person in your life
So cold, foot on necks and I'm taking bets, foot on necks and I'm taking bets, foot on necks and I'm taking bets

Day 27: Celebrate Women

Tracey Thorn "Record" (2018 Unmade Road)

A late-career album by one half of Everything But The Girl. Basically, it's just the girl. Record is a look back at different stages in women's lives, tied together with a nostalgic sounding electropop and Tracey's heartfelt story telling.
