They bought their first touring RV from my dad's old place, so I've met them a few times over the years. I really like their debut album, but agree that they haven't done much to peak my interest since.

the only time I saw them was opening for Isbell between their first and second albums. they played mostly unreleased stuff from the upcoming album and i thought it sounded amazing, when I hadn't really ever been into them. then the album came out and those same songs were stiff and lifeless.

same, i give each subsequent album a listen because i keep chasing that live vibe and people were super into them, but outside of a song or two an album, nothing hits
