Let's See Your Collection! Any Size!

Wait really? And then just shove them back there?

Yup, like so:

I did the pool thing initially but didn't love it so bought backspacers for all my cubes - they work great

if your cheap like me 😊 you could buy a couple pieces of molding at a bigbox and then cut them to size with a hacksaw. Either velcro, 3m dual lock, or glue into place. Should be around $25 to do a 5x5.

I'm relatively cheap but live in a tiny apartment with no access to the space to do such things. Plus I'd have to rent a car to get to a big box so these were custom made for someone like me.

they have multiple coupon codes to, someone here might remember the best codes to use.

I have a few hundred cassettes that I have been slowly digitising. After transferring them I have been stacking them at the back of the Kallax (19 high by 3 wide) for storage and as it happens they are the right depth to allow the record to sit ever so slightly (a couple mm) back from the front edge. Perfect!

There’s always a way !

I was running out of space now that my collection is north of 2,500, so I rearranged my office this week to add a 5x5 Kallax. This is it. Once that bad boy fills up there is no more space in the house for records. :D

Also added a Schiit Mani 2 phono preamp to the setup. Best budget phono stage I've heard to date.

In the name of insurance purposes and posterity (and some requests), I'm uploading my updated collection that spans three rooms in my house. This one is long but I won't do it again for a long time lol

Couch currently storing records:

(Months later…) Thanks for the link - finally got my records back on the shelves today, and realized I should really get some of these - would make things look much more tidy. Do you have the regular or “skinny” version? Working well?
