I ordered and paid for a new lowboy to finally replace my Salamander. After two false starts that ultimately got nixed by either delays or my wife changing her opinion (totally valid and ok of her to do so, especially as this is in the living room) we are going with a Tactile Audio Cervantes. We are doing the same walnut/white with walnut shelves as in the picture, but are customizing the depth and shelf spacing to meet our needs.I think it should be illegal to post "I did a thing" in this thread without saying what that thing is.
I’m really excited as this is also prompting me to finally decide on the digital side if I want Aurender A series or to keep my LUMIN and add the LTA Aero DAC. Then, for now at least, the 2-ch is settled and I can spend my kids college fund on other stuff. (Let’s be honest, at least one of them is going to a JC and dropping out, right?).

I dig the design, the fact that they are local and small, and that they’ll deliver it straight to my house themselves. Eat me UPS!
I’m not getting rid of the Salamander, but instead moving it and repurposing it to auxiliary bar duties (store whisky and glasses for example
