Fresh Grabs

1: 1970 transitional press came by mail. Not auto-coupled, which I like better.

2: dollar box grabs at an indoor flea market. Been after the extended cover of She’s Lost Control for a while, didn’t want to pay for overseas shipping.

Steely Dan x 3

My hometown had nothing when I was growing up but somehow has now acquired a rather wonderful record shop. I popped in briefly today and quickly grabbed this haul. A Marvin Gaye live album that seems to get good reviews; an attempt to broaden my Band collection; and a good bit of Steely Dan (my first ever CD purchase aged 14 was the complete Steely Dan boxset so I'd resisted getting them all on vinyl a little but gave in today).

Still sealed w hype sticker original 1985 of Prefab Sprout Two Wheels Good (ie Steve McQueen)

Edit: I’d also like to note that it is such a joy to be the first to unseal and listen to an album that has gone untouched for 34 years.
