Dog #2 is finally comfortable at home and has found her tv watching spot.
That second picture reminds me if something I commonly say to Ted. “Leave your foot on until tomorrow”.Here's my childhood dog, Mitzi, half beagle and half cocker spaniel, lying among discarded boxes and wrapping paper one Christmas as she loved to do. She was the only one of her litter who looked like a Holstein. I miss her.

I have no idea why your dog's foot is slathered in honey, but I do have a suggestion: years ago my cat had a serious foot injury and the vet recommended rubbing a generous amount of lavender essential oil into the bandage. In addition to its natural antiseptic qualities, it's not a taste/smell that a dog or cat really loves, so they're less likely to worry at it. Seemed to work pretty well in my case!Feeling sorry for himself with a dodgy foot and massive failure after trying to hack away at the home made bandage to get at the manuka honey underneath
