I was supposed to see him, for the first time, last night at Webster Hall. Huge bummer. Hope he makes a full recovery.

His statement says he expects to fully recover, but sounds like a long road. Hopefully he comes back strong as ever.
I had tickets to see him at the Ryman although I have seen 3 times before, I was really looking forward to this because of him playing songs from The Ballad of Dood and Juanita, but yeah he just needs to get better. I'm sure there will be times in the future to see him play again.
