As a fan of Amiri Baraka/LeRoi Jones AND James Brandon Lewis this just seemed like a no-brainer!

Seems to be my year for musical tributes to poets as my copy of The Plastik Beatniks' tribute to Bob Kaufman just showed up yesterday.

As part of a fundraising effort for touring funds, the Legendary Pink Dots have dropped most of their bandcamp catalog to Name Your Price. Honestly I have most of the physical releases as CDs and a few LPs but I've dropped a nice bit of coin just to have the FLACs. If you're remotely curious and don't know them, I would point to Canta Mientras Puedas or The Maria Dimension
