The new Quarters and Mind Fuzz variants are up and they each now have a 2 LP audiophile edition for $36. I'm sorely tempted but I really do hate 45s cause of my table's pain in the ass belt change procedure.

So I've had a copy of this sitting on my "new in" self for a few weeks...
It came as part of a mystery bundle I picked up from the label for April's Bandcamp Friday. I was particularly stoked about it since LW was the first Gizz release I listened to and it's my first reverse groove record. So tonight I cracked it open excited to listen, but much to my chagrin...
Definitely disappointed by this development.

My daughter is there and was kind of bummed. Strokes cancelled due to COVID as well.
I was lucky enough to catch them in Burlington, VT right before the COVID debacle and, I have to say, the energy of their live show is nothing short of transcendent. I won’t miss them if they again come within a 6 hour drive.

I’m behind on my listening to, well, everything. But I was outside playing with the kid in the yard this afternoon when Magenta Mountain came on my little Bluetooth speaker and it stopped me in my tracks. I didn’t even realize it was Gizz until I grabbed my phone to check. Loving the groove on this one.
