I think my copy of Kid A Mnesia might be the noisiest and worst sounding album I've ever spun. Really hoping a more serious clean will improve it, but holy hell is it bad. I really wish big bands like Radiohead would demand a product that delivers high quality audio for their fans.

Just found out my mom has inoperable cancer and months to live. The only thing she said after that was that God would make sure she gets to see other believers again, but she probably won't see me again. She's incapable of even the smallest bit of human empathy or vulnerability. How are you supposed to feel losing your parent when even in death they'd rather make a snide comment then just say "I love you"?

Snagged a few albums by Armin Van Buuren on a whim recently and my neighbors may hate me for how loud I'm pumping this. Embrace pulsates between the misguided bumps of my youth and the chill relaxed vibe of my middle age. A potentially dangerous overlap that I hope doesn't (re)awaken anything in me!

I was elected for something, the position was very stressful and the people sucked, so I just quit. It feels amazing. I want to quit more things now. Quitting is amazing. Sticking things out is overrated. Life's too short.

Just found out that a friend I grew up with who I haven't seen in 24 years just passed away. One of the last memories I have of him is of us doing a double feature at his mom's house of Hackers and The Saint shortly before I moved away. Eddie was always doing something he shouldn't and got into a lot of trouble over the years. He also loved Primus, so I'm gonna go listen to some to send him off.
