Did anyone get the Cloud Nothings "Attack on Memory" 10th Anniversary? Every Discogs review so far has reported major surface noise. It's got me a little worried for a $30 plus record
Damn. Death Cab/Postal Service tickets were harder to get than I thought. I guess I underestimated the early 2000's nostalgia demographic selling out an amphitheater.
Anyone ever accidentally have a package sent to an old address? It's been over a year so forwarding is off. The post office said they couldn't do anything about it (even though both addresses are in the same zip code).
Randomly decided to pick up the first 2 DMB albums on vinyl since they're currently available and they have to be 2 of the best sounding records in my collection. Now we need a Bellman cut Before These Crowded Streets pronto!
Ticketmaster trying to sell me parking for Coldplay in DC for $50 + $13 fee like it's some kind of discount. Fuck that. Is that really what FedEx Field charges for parking day of?
What's the best way to seek out 2nd hand concert tickets? Regret not getting Paul McCartney tickets for Camden Yards and StubHub and Ticketmaster prices are ridiculous. (Doesn't help that I don't do heights well so upper deck stadium seats are usually a no go).
Where does one start with Bob Mould? I know I'm very late on this. I never really paid much attention but have been hearing Bob Mould and Sugar songs on the Indie 1.0 XM station and am digging it
More bands should make podcasts about their new albums like The War On Drugs. It gives a lot of insight on what went into making the album and helps me appreciate things that I might not have thought about before.
