I like both versions (on dark mode, probably will stay with it) my complaint is still that under watched it shows all threads and the bold is not very bold which means I actually have to pay attention, who wants to do that, not sure if you can make it another color, that could be a better way to contrast if all threads will continue to be shown
 
I just realized I do get the tabs when I turn my phone to landscape mode so that’s an option
 
I don’t like the orange. I like the overall direction, but the orange is just plain ugly. 👎

Edit: thanks for leaving the default as an option to escape the orange.

The other forum also changed the icon to the left of the thread titles when it was read. Maybe that’s an option here too?

Edit: never mind, I see here that the threads use the avatars of who made it instead of a generic icon, don’t mind me
 
Anyone know if, on mobile, there is still a way to get to the home screen with one click? Used to be able to do it by clicking on the XenForo logo at the top, but now there's nothing in that space.

We rushed out two themes over the weekend. There is both a light and dark theme option available. Light is default, dark is user selectable.

Please look over the themes, find any issues and give feedback. We will evolve and incorporate as much as we can.

FYI. The notifications on hover feature was dropped by xenForo when they went to version 2.0 in 2017. As of yet there are no add ons / modifications to add this back. If this is something people feel strongly about we can look into making our selves, but it will take time.

I think it should be used as an accent for very specific elements, and let the rest with sleek black, whitec and grey. For instance, I think the lettering in the logo would work better if it was white, and maybe just highlight the thing icon in the middle in orange.

A couple more things. Are you set on the logo? Or will that be decided further down the line?
Also, I think the image at the top of the page would work better if it was darkened on Photoshop. It would give the page a more unified look: All dark at the top/light at the bottom vs Semi dark/dar/light

Great job, though! This is just the designer in me that can't help but over-analyze the aesthetic aspects of everything, so don't mind me too much.

Totally get that (I do this crap for a living too and know what sort of a pain it is to skin/tweak someone else’s code). Nice work on a quick turn, everyone.
 
The Orange is a bit Halloween'ish but that's cool, I like Halloween. My only major issue is now when you select text to edit within a comment you've written either to bold it or change the font size, the selection box is dead black, you no longer can see the text you're changing. Not the end of the world but not awesome...

Right now you can click "Home" at the very bottom

That's an issue that I flagged in testing. It's on the list of things for @RenegadeMonster to do. It was temporarily parked because it was proving trickier than first thought. I think it might even be different depending on what browser you are using??
 
The other issue that I may just have to get used to is in the dark mode I am having a harder time with distinguishing quotes vs replies, yes I know there is a bright orange bar but the contrast otherwise is hard, again I might just need to adjust to it, also anything in a bar bar is hard to read (like new messages have been posted since...)

Yes, this is also something we identified in testing. I don’t like it either but hopefully we’ll get it figured out soon. Something about not being able to change this color without changing the color of other things.
