I'm shocked to see most of you seem to have bought less this year. Getting really into jazz with my first Tone Poets back in 2019 has really been awful for my wallet, and my house is starting to feel more and more cluttered.

I realized I was buying all the tone poets and not listening to a lot of them more than a handful of times. Also realized that it doesn’t pay to buy any of them on preorder because the prices drop pretty drastically between sales and Amazon putting most on steep discount.
I’m also probably at 700-800 jazz LPs now. I think @zdkaiser talked recently about how much jazz is too much jazz and I’m kinda at that point
. I’ll replace some VG copies of stuff with BNC or TPs but no longer itching to have all this stuff on day 1

I’m almost jazzed out at the moment…too many series to keep up on and none are selling out quickly so I sit back and then realize I don’t actually need something.

I'm not burnt out but I can see how others are getting there.
I know when I buy an album that I will listen to it, shelve it and then come back to it sometime later.
That extra discount seems to have gone away. I didn't need to buy any more records anyway.
