Equipment Recommendations - The Home For New System and Upgrade Advice

Okay, I have another query for y'all. I'm trading in a bunch of gear along with the table upgrade, but the place I'm trading to isn't the place I'm buying the table from. So I'm going to have a few thousand dollars worth in trade in value and honestly nothing that I really need. The ADS is cool but the more I'm reading about it the more issues I'm seeing with apparent transformer hum. Could be a non issue, could be super annoying.
SO.
The only other thing I could see would be worthwhile would be to upgrade my stage. I'm currently running a Rega Aria and it's slightly neutral warm signals matches my system well. Does anyone have an opinion on a worthy upgrade to the Aria that wouldn't be a zillion dollars?
What would YOU do?
Budget?
SS I would second Sutherland. Also check Hegel, Lejonklou, Lehman, Rothwell also. Maybe Whest.
Tubes would depend on what your dealers carry but I like my Modwright and my Tavish Adagio wasn't far behind. Maybe Rogue Audio Ares too.
I wasn't joking about the Luxman, maybe the less expensive E-250.
Get something to match that Classic!

To throw a couple other names @Mather check out the Gold Sound PH-1000 (and maybe the external psu) and/or the EAT E-GLO Petit. The Gold Sound is a nice product and extremely versatile with good customer service. The EAT is tubes and may have a better distribution channel in Canada.

Gold Note PH-1000?
The one that costs $16,000?
Can you come explain the choice to my wife please? Because she has some.... concerns.

Sorry, I got carried away with the zeros. I meant the PH-10.
Yeah I've seen good things about that stage but it's basically a comparable to the Aria I currently own so I don't think it would make sense in this particular case. I'm really happy with the Aria but I have a chance to upgrade so I figured it's worth a look. The Luxmans are interesting, unfortunately neither of the places I can trade to actually stock them... I'm gunna check on all of these suggestions to see how many are actually available at these spots, thanks y'all for the ideas.

I say spend the money on a 2 channel amp and get away from the AVR.
It's just not built for a good analog sound.

Could even consider one with a nice integrated phono stage to save a few bucks.
Just be sure it can run 100ohms for LOMC.

It's just not possible, I'm limited by my room the speakers have to run the projector surround sound. There's no way around it, the Arcam AVR is it for this house or at least this room.

Gotcha. I run TV media with some old JBL bookshelves and an old Onkyo AVR.
Yeah I've got in ceiling speakers in that room for the 5.1 so I mean it's possible if I got another set of front speakers and somehow got a second amp into my media console but it really wouldn't work. Honestly my listening room should be in the basement but due to the layout of that room and the fact that one wall is like 2000 lbs of exposed solid rock it would not make for a good listening spot. My previous amp was convinced my speakers were all out of phase just due to the sound bouncing back of that wall.

Room treatments and a shaggy rug?

Manley is another one I don't think I've ever seen in Canada. Looking at their site they have 2 places in the entire country that carry them. And I've never heard of either of them. Look like high end specialty import shops.
Get one used. I understand this is totally useless in regards to your store credit predicament, but you should still get one. This and that VPI Classic would be unnghhhhh

I will inquire as to whether either place can get ahold of one. It's a very Canadian sounding piece of gear in terms of the name, which I like.

I wonder if @krichard2496 at Darlington Labs is any closer to the tube, dual mono, balanced MP8…
We've made remarkable progress while remaining within the 5 inch chassis and in the MP-7 model and pricepoint. We continue to evaluate the next step up in our line in this regard. Balanced output option is being explored for an MP-7 variant and potentially dual-mono regulation.
