Definitive Audiophile pressings

Hey y'all, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Ignoring the very expensive Mofi and Speakers Corner pressings, what's the consensus? The current one seems to be pretty good? Doug Sax and Ludwig? Anyone got opinions?

Some vintage pressings are on that Quiex-type vinyl. I picked up a Canadian early 80's pressing on Quiex. Unfortunately, it's a bit more noisy than I'd like for this album. This is one that needs to be really quiet I feel, since many of the tracks have low volume. Anyway, I'm still looking for a good copy. But it does sound good otherwise. Been keeping a eye out for a Japanese but I haven't seen an acceptable one since I was too slow on a copy at RC more than a year ago. The current issue is supposed to be good though, so I may just end up getting one of those.

I have this bad boy.

Think it sounds great but don’t have anything to compare to

In stock now!

I am in a limbo where I got the shipping notification....but (sad face) no actually delivery date in the UPS tracking (ordered TGI...karl)

Also, no deliver yet of Billie from DD. Why oh why!?!?!
Yea my Billie is maybe arriving tomorrow. Exodus was from AS. I got a copy from
Karl for my buddy too but that one is still in label creation sadly.

yea i like my mono japanese pressing of Workin and I think I may have a japanese press of Monk with Coltrane too but the KG/AAA/Tip-On FOMO is strong on this one...
It can only be mono, and that japanese is AAA as well, done by a fantastic (uncredited) Japanese mastering engineer, from a second generation tape which was far superior for what passes for a master tape on the U.S. today.

Just sayin'.....
