Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

My PE & Meters are clean. Both my copies of OutKast had the noise, second copy was better, both copies worst on side D - haven’t tested the repress replacements they sent yet. My Wu had minimal noise at the beginning of side A, but had bass distortion throughout. The bass distortion disappeared after I changed my stylus though so I’m not really sure.
Yeah this is just it. Certain stylii have bigger issues with GZs shit. I think a lot of their issues are deep in the groove where stylii like fine line and shibata really amplify the issues. Whereas other profiles miss some of them to a degree.

I believe this. Was going to upgrade from the XP5 that came with my table but I think it doesn't hide stuff. I'd rather know if there is an issue now rather than update and find out half the records I have are noisy shit.

Is there still an issue where when the non-essentials tracks are actually desirable records that they sell out and are hard to swap to? Signed back up for Tribe and would like to switch for Labcab for next month and wondering if it will be complicated.

It shouldn't be. Nothing has sold out on release since some Classics (Lee Morgan and Withers) and ATLiens.

I don't think that's happened in recent months and no disrespect meant to UGK and Pharcyde, but I personally don't expect there will be an issue swapping to Hip Hop next month.

Man, the Hip-Hop track just hasn't been for me this year. I like Too Hard To Swallow, but don't really feel like it needs to be in my collection. There are better UGK ablums. Everything else has been meh.

I am really looking forward to Pharcyde at least.
