Yeah, I did a bunch over Christmas break and felt like I was going to get them all and then the break was over and I haven't touched it since. Good plan you had.

Yeah it was a lot but I felt it was right to do it quickly while I was at hand or it’d drag on for years once I was back in the office. Plus I get kinda obsessive with tasks like this and will not let up until I’m done…
Yeah other than some minor leaks when it was full up to the very top it’s still running the same as day 1, touch wood.

If you do, soldering the wires directly to the PCB would be the quickest way to resolve the issue (instruction will be provided). If not, we will send you a new PCB with instructions for you to replace the part. This way, it can save you money and time to send back the machine for repair. However, due to the Lunar New Year holiday, we can only send you the part after we resume office in Mid-February.

So... What option would you take. It seems like if I take the soldering route that would eliminate my possibility to have a new board shipped since I would have messed up the plug-in type connection the wires currently have. I think at this point replacing the whole PCB would be a safer option? I don't exactly have the best soldering experience and the wires are extremely close together.

Those plugs are probably just crimped on right? I was thinking that when your shared you picture. That many crimped connections as opposed to soldered probably increases the likelihood of something coming loose.
Personally I would solder them, but if you aren't confident in your soldering or don't have small enough tips to work on the traces on that pcb, then I agree that another board is a good call. If the connector is a type that you need a certain tool or something to install then you wouldn't be able to put it back on like you say. Some might be easier to install though, I'm not sure, don't have any experience installing connectors like that.

The female end of the plug is soldered to the board and the male end with the wires looks crimped. My soldering experience is pedestrian at best and more than likely I would end up with a giant blob that ends up shorting the whole damn thing. I am hoping they let me hold on to the old board as a spare though. Might be a good time to practice.
I consider myself handy, but I don't have the dexterity I used to and even getting the wires unplugged from each other was a challenging task.

I've noticed several records not spinning in the Humminguru. I'm wondering if they were all pressed at the same plant. Two of them are International Anthem releases which are pressed at Smashed Plastic. I've just gotten the Oasis - Knebworth release which similarly has very rounded edges doesn't spin. I have seen fixes for this online but I am probably too lazy to bother. I just kind of spin it with my hands!

In my experience it happens most with vinyl with thicker than normal edges. I just set a piece of rolled up felt on the downward rotating side to push on it a tiny bit and it works great.

I cut up one of the spare felt pads I had from a Kallax.

I think the thickness (2mm max) and ability to stick it to the backside of the roller are more important than that it be felt.
