Hope you enjoy them! Their sound is a lot of fun. They sound good out of the box but at about 200 hours they really begin to show what they can do!

Haha there is no secret. He told me he had one pair left in stock of the walnut finish with matching stands and that they typically did not discount them but that he was willing to knock off $100 with free shipping...then I offered to e-transfer him the money right away if he was willing to take off an additional $100 and the rest is history as they say

There’s a review out there that says the grilles are attached magnetically. The review is very incorrect.

As I'm anxiously awaiting the arrivals of my new Wharfedale Lintons, I've been watching a ton of YT vids about them and I'm amazed at how many people take off the grills when listening

I would initially be concerned about placement, trying tweeters in/out, and break-in.

I would keep the grilles on, they were designed that way as HFG said and it will keep accidents from happening

i think people on youtube just like showing off the speakers without grills, but i have never had the desire to take them off. i love how they look with the grills on.
